Areas of Practice

Medical Malpractice

The world of Healthcare is complex. In fact, I would say it too is a living organism comprised of complicated and ever changing details. I take pride in clearly explaining and navigating the often complex expanse of medical records. Sometimes the case is not about the records you are given, it is about what is missing that might make or break the case. I can sort through the records you have and make them into a short concise story with all the important facts and information yet to be provided.

Services Provided Include: Merit Review, Chronology, Fact sheets and summaries, Brief Reports, Comprehensive Reports, and Expert Location.

Personal Injury

As a Nurse Practitioner I can also review complaints and medical records through the lens of a provider. Has your client received thorough and adequate care? Are there gaps or missing testing to truly gauge the severity of injury to your client? Is the injury “serious“ enough to meet state standards?

Other services provided include: Request for Bills of Particular, help prepare statements of merit and settlement packages, Medical record synthesis and expert witness location.

Defense Medical Exams (DME)/Independant Medical Exams (IME)

Typically employed in Personal Injury cases, These are instances when an injury is sustained and may require ongoing treatment. I can assist in preparing the patient/client for the impending examination and the rigors that may await the examination upcoming. Additionally, the presence of a Nurse Practitioner LNC during the examination will stave off any unsavory tactics during the evaluation.
